Narinig Mo Ba Not Loading? Browser Help
Start with what you can see: the poster, a status message, a black canvas or a browser warning. Narinig Mo Ba runs in your browser through WebGL2, and the player on this site names each loading stage in plain words, so the message on screen tells you where things stopped. Match it to the sections below, try the steps for your browser and, if nothing helps, send a report.
What happens when you press play?
Before you press Play now, the page shows a poster. The page, its pictures and its scripts have loaded, but no game files have been downloaded yet. After that, the player on this site moves through these stages:
| Stage | What the page says | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Preparing | "Preparing the player…" | The site's scripts have not started yet. If this message stays, JavaScript is switched off or the site's script did not load: reload the page, allow JavaScript for this site or open browser help |
| Check | "Checking your browser…" | The site is testing WebGL2 before requesting any game files |
| Blocked | "Your browser could not start WebGL2." | The browser, device or a setting stopped it; browser help opens |
| Download | "Downloading game files… 37%" | Game files are arriving; a percentage appears only when the loader reports real numbers |
| Engine | "Starting the game engine…" | The download has finished and the engine is starting up |
| Started | "The engine has started. Click inside the game to continue." | Click or tap inside Narinig Mo Ba to reach its main menu |
If the engine message appears but nothing responds, click or tap inside the game once: Narinig Mo Ba needs focus, and your browser may hold back sound until that first interaction. Then press START on the game's main menu.
Some messages mean something needs your attention:
- "Still loading? Nothing new has arrived for 45 seconds." The download has stalled for now. Choose Keep waiting if your connection is slow, Load again to start the download over, or Browser help. Nothing is restarted for you.
- "The game page could not be loaded." or "A game file could not be loaded: …" A file did not arrive, often because of a dropped connection. Choose Try again; if it keeps happening, check the download steps below.
- "The game could not start." The engine reported a problem while starting. Choose Try again once, then check WebGL2 below.
- "Graphics interrupted. Restarting may lose this session." The browser lost the graphics context while the game was running. Restart asks before it replaces the game, because a new session begins at Day 1.
- "The game has closed. Its Exit button ends the session." The game's own EXIT button was used. Choose Play again to start a new session.
Check WebGL2
Narinig Mo Ba is a Godot 4.7 web export that draws with WebGL2. When the check fails, the cause can be the browser, the graphics driver, the device or a setting managed by an organisation.
Chrome
Open the menu, choose Help → About Google Chrome, install any update and select Relaunch. On a computer, check that graphics acceleration is available under Settings → System, then relaunch. On Android, update Chrome and the system instead. Do not force experimental flags past the browser's graphics safeguards.
Edge
Open Settings and more → Help and feedback → About Microsoft Edge to update, then restart. On a computer, look under Settings → System and performance for graphics acceleration. On a managed work or school device, ask the administrator rather than overriding the policy.
Firefox
Update Firefox, open Settings and find the Performance section. Use the recommended performance settings, or review hardware acceleration if your system offers it, then restart; option names vary.
Safari
Safari updates with the system, so use Software Update on your Mac, iPhone or iPad. There is no separate Safari installer and no WebGL2 switch to find. On iPhone and iPad, most browser apps use the same engine as Safari, so switching browsers there often changes little; the site's WebGL2 check is what decides.
If WebGL2 still fails, try Narinig Mo Ba on another updated device. A passing check only shows WebGL2 can start; it does not guarantee memory or speed on every device.
Check the download
The first Narinig Mo Ba load is large. The runtime files total about 114 MB uncompressed; the actual transfer depends on compression and caching. In our own test in desktop Chromium, the loader reported real progress up to 100%, and the engine then started without errors.
- Keep the tab open, and on a phone keep it in the foreground.
- Prefer Wi-Fi to mobile data.
- "Still loading?" appears when no new data has arrived for 45 seconds. It is a prompt, not a failure: Keep waiting hides it, and Narinig Mo Ba is only reloaded if you choose Load again.
One player whose Narinig Mo Ba load stayed stuck got through in a private window. Private windows usually start without extensions and without old cached files, so if that works, try disabling extensions or clearing this site's stored data in a normal window.
Check fullscreen and orientation
Fullscreen asks your browser to show Narinig Mo Ba in native fullscreen. If the browser refuses or does not offer it, the player expands inside the page instead and says so, and an Exit button stays visible either way. The whole 16:9 view stays on screen; the sides are never cropped to fill a tall display.
On a phone, turn the device sideways to give Narinig Mo Ba more room. The site suggests landscape but never locks your screen's rotation. The mobile guide has more phone tips.
Escape works differently here. This build of Narinig Mo Ba binds Escape to quitting, which in a browser can leave a frozen picture; one player reported getting stuck that way. On this site the key never reaches Narinig Mo Ba: it only leaves the expanded view. The EXIT button on the game's own main menu still closes the session, and the page then offers to start again.
Report an issue
If nothing above gets Narinig Mo Ba running, open Browser help on the page where the problem happened and use Report a problem. Its Copy details button copies a short summary: the build the player loaded, the stage it reached, your browser and device type, and whether the WebGL2 check passed. You see the text before you copy it, and it contains nothing personal. If copying is blocked, select the text and copy it yourself.
Add a sentence about what you see (the poster, a message, a black canvas or a frozen picture) and send it to the contact address on the credits page. If an order never completes, check the first-shift guide first.
Try again without losing context
While the game runs, links on the game page open in a new tab, so your session stays open in the original tab. When you have finished reading, switch back to that tab: opening the player again elsewhere starts a separate game from Day 1. Browser help opens a panel without reloading the game, so you can read the steps while Narinig Mo Ba stays where it is; it does not save anything or necessarily pause the game. Restart asks for confirmation because the build's scripts contain no save system: a new session begins at the main menu and Day 1. If no game is running, open the player to start one.

Already playing? Your game keeps running in the tab where you started it, so switch back to that tab. The button below opens the player here and starts a new game from Day 1.
